Last week we took a surprise trip to Quito, Ecuador. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I don’t do well with surprises, but I’m so glad I went. Although it wasn’t on my list of to-do’s for this year, I’ve decided that I will definitely try to be more spontaneous. The views from this high up were always gorgeous and lucky for me, I didn’t realize I had mild altitude sickness until the night before we left 
My mother and sister felt a bit off while there too but we didn’t even think about it being the altitude until after we left.
